A green grape angel
A green grape angel
a green grape angel
have filled her sweet, sweet mouth
of juicy grapes
they were so very much delicious
like fruit of tender sugary kisses
and when she smiles,
twinkling away
her heart planted the green, green grapes
growing rounded and all fresh
they strengthens her wings to fly
and spread out wide
letting all of her green, green grapes
of love
falling all over the world.......

At Times Am Overwhelmed
by the abundance of nothing
just sitting there alone
by the lagoon
and watching the foaming brine
bring in debris of all kinds
or taking a walk
on the dark side
and i cross the road
where the motel was
and see comfort workers
still hawking their stuff
but i turn and walk on by
at times like that
i recall your first cut
the times we necked
at the lagoon front
the things we did
at our heavenspot
you touched me in places
i did not know exist
and i took you on journeys
that i can not now revisit
saw you now all
married and proper
a vicar's wife
fitted for the role
like the thread fits the needle
i begin to doubt if
it didn’t all happen
maybe i hallucinate
two dozen times
over three years
or may be i break your heart
and you found god
and he showed you the vicar
who gave showed you peace
but am still walking in the shadows
behind the trees where
we used to make love
and haunt the streets
were we rendezvoused
am still thinking
why did i leave
and if i was the earth
and you were the leaf
why in the name of newton
did you not come back to me
at times overwhelmed
by the abundance of nothing
i compose this corny lines

early poetic bird
she woke up
in a tree
her eyes are still halfway
open
leftover dreams still
linger
while the sun sticks to
her skull
yet, she said, “i need poetry and coffee!”
so she drifts off
out of her tree
swirling ‘round
her words came falling
from her soul
when she flown away
another mile
she have sung
her freedom in the
mid air
where the soul is longing for
the skies
“i need poetry and coffee!”
she happily chirped
on a beautiful Sunday
waving her wings in the air
cos she woke up
to write dropping poems
and take a few sweet sips
of coffee
cos she’s called
an early poetic bird
and she writes her soul
down, drinking sugary-cream coffee………

I Remember You
Of catch and the fishes
Won’t come out
Because the sun is shining
Angrily overhead, then
I remember you

I am Yours for Always.
beating with anticipation.
Your eyes captivate me,
drawing me deep in their dark depths,
showing me glimpses of the sweet soul inside.
One glance and I drown in your love,
swimming to the surface only with great strength and will.
Holding on for all I'm worth,
dreaming of the day I'm yours for always....

red, white blue pt.3
red, white, blue
part 3.
love is
red,
white,
blue
coloring
my heart
in red,
words in blue
and no white
the independence
that i gain
so much pride
of being
the voice in
this country, America
and look at
me
brown skin
wise poetic soul
i am not an
American butterfly
or a star spangle bird
i am free
the blood of goodness
and i will rise
like fireworks
this red
this white
this blue
not just the flag
in the breeze
just me
holding my pride
in my hands
and
say,
"happy 4th"

Getting Over...You
Slip slide duck and hide away
But they are all around me
Beating me on the head
Hitting me in my back
Knocking the sh*t out of me
I know I look tough
But Man I'm tired
My breath is leaving me
I'm so exhausted
It hurts to breathe
Someone get me some help
Please...
Someone
Help
Me...

Madness
Going through emotions
So big
I want
To cry
Scream
Have magical powers
And bring my friend
Back
Senseless murder
Lives changed forever
I look
Down the street
See his empty home
Further down
I see his body
Laying there lifeless
I wanted to run
Shake him
Say
Get UP!
God knows better
All I can do is
Pray
Remember
Cry
Until
I heal.
RIP E.

little girl's face3-27-08
little girl's face
i have a little girl's face
flat cheeks
bone structures
like straight oval
but i am still a woman
to your eyes
look at me
those dark brown eyes
never lie
and you think, you said i am beautiful
oh my little babyface
i never
only a smile
a twinkle in my eye
and the cuteness is written
all over me
